New Holland Brewing Company Spotlight: Holland, Michigan

New Holland Brewing Company has been making beer in Holland since 1997, and in that time it has grown from a local West Michigan craft brewery into a brand recognized across the country. The thing that made it work was never changing what it fundamentally was: a Michigan operation built around quality craft beer and the kind of authenticity that cannot be purchased.

The original brewpub is located at 66 E 8th St in downtown Holland, right in the heart of a city that has been reinventing its downtown for the better over the past two decades. The space is warm and inviting, with a full menu and a tap list that reflects everything New Holland has developed across more than twenty-five years of brewing.

Dragon’s Milk, their bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout, is the beer that put New Holland on the national map. Rich, complex, and deeply satisfying, it became one of the most recognized Michigan craft beers in the country and the foundation for a whole family of Dragon’s Milk variants that the brewery releases throughout the year.

Mad Hatter IPA, Pilgrim’s Dole Wheatwine, and a rotating portfolio of seasonal releases give customers constant reasons to revisit the lineup. The spirits program, including New Holland’s Zeppelin Bend whiskey, extends the brand into craft distilling with the same approach.
