Hazel Coffee Co in Ann Arbor is proof that a great cup of coffee and a bold dream can take root anywhere. Owners Hailey and Bryan Caragay built their business from the ground up, starting with a single espresso machine and a mobile catering operation before opening their first brick and mortar shop at 2111 Packard Street in November 2025.

After launching their coffee catering company in Austin, Texas in 2020, the couple relocated to Ann Arbor in 2022 and spent years serving the community through mobile coffee carts at events and gatherings across the area. Today, Hazel Coffee Co offers specialty coffee drinks in a welcoming neighborhood setting, open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 5pm.

The Caragays put in five years of dedication to their craft before opening the doors to a permanent home, and their commitment shows in every cup. They have become a beloved part of the Packard Street corridor and a true example of what it means to build something meaningful in Southeast Michigan.
