Wally Bronner started selling Christmas decorations out of a small shop in Frankenmuth in 1945. What grew from that beginning is now the largest Christmas store in the world, a 98,000 square foot building on 27 acres that draws more than two million visitors annually and operates 361 days a year. It is also still a family business.

Located at 25 Christmas Lane in Frankenmuth, Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland carries more than 50,000 gifts and Christmas decorations spanning every style, tradition, and aesthetic preference imaginable. Ornaments, nativity sets, lights, trees, nutcrackers, Santas, village pieces, and personalized keepsakes fill an interior that takes time to fully explore. Outside, the Silent Night Memorial Chapel and the lighted outdoor displays extend the experience well beyond the retail floor.

The scale is staggering, but Bronner’s has maintained the warmth of a family business despite it. The staff is genuinely helpful, the welcome is authentic, and the operation carries the spirit of its founder’s original vision: creating a place where Christmas feels real regardless of the calendar date.
