Heidi’s Darn Good Cookies Spotlight: Bay City and Saginaw, Michigan

Heidi started baking cookies out of her Bay City home in 2016. By 2017 she had her first storefront. Today Heidi’s Darn Good Cookies has two locations and a reputation that speaks for itself.

With locations in Bay City at 1590 S Euclid Avenue and in Saginaw at 2903 Pierce Road across from SVSU, Heidi’s is a small batch gourmet cookie bakery where the dough is hand mixed one batch at a time and every cookie is hand scooped. Over 60 flavors rotate through the cases, with a minimum of 12 available any given day alongside seasonal specialty choices.

The menu goes beyond standard cookies. Ice cream cookie sandwiches, cookie cakes, cookie pies, and custom cut outs give you reasons to come back for every occasion. Gift certificates are available, and Heidi’s runs a fundraising program that has made them a go-to partner for schools, sports teams, and nonprofits across the Great Lakes Bay Region.

The Bay City location holds a 4.9-star rating from customers who cannot stop coming back. When the dough is mixed by hand and the ingredients are high quality, it shows.
