Mountain Town Station Brewery Spotlight: Mt. Pleasant, Michigan

The building was a train depot before it became a brewery, and it still carries that sense of being a place where people arrive and settle in for a while. Mountain Town Station Brewery in Mt. Pleasant has made good use of its historic bones, turning a piece of the city’s infrastructure history into one of Mid-Michigan’s most welcoming craft beer destinations.

Located at 506 W Broadway in Mt. Pleasant, the brewery serves a lineup of craft beers made in house across a range of styles broad enough to serve the diverse crowd that a college town brings in. Central Michigan University is down the road, which means Mountain Town Station sees everything from students celebrating a good week to alumni returning for football weekends to local families making it a regular Friday night.

The brewing team rotates seasonals regularly while keeping a core lineup stable enough for regulars to rely on. A full food menu makes Mountain Town Station a dinner destination as well as a stop for drinks, with the kitchen handling burgers, pizza, and scratch-made comfort food at the kind of honest prices that fit a college town budget.
